Conversion tracking audit pricing: $900 flat

The Missing Conversions Audit is $900, flat, charged once: a teardown of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Meta signals, and consent, with the top 10 issues fixed and validated, delivered in 5 business days. If fewer than five fixable gaps are found, the audit is free and you keep the report.

What the $900 covers

One audit, one price, charged once. The scope is fixed and identical for every client:

  • A teardown of four systems: GA4, Google Tag Manager, ad platform signals in Google Ads and Meta, and consent.
  • Every gap found, logged with a severity rating, the mechanism behind it, steps to reproduce it, and what it costs you in reporting or in bidding.
  • The top 10 issues fixed and validated in a separate GTM workspace during the audit, published only with your approval.
  • Before and after proof for the fixes that shipped.
  • A recorded walkthrough of the report in plain language, made for whoever owns the budget.
  • A prioritized backlog covering everything outside the top 10, scoped so your own developer can pick it up.
  • Two weeks of follow-up questions after delivery.

Delivery is 5 business days from the moment access is granted, not five days from the invoice.

What the $900 does not cover

The edges matter more than a long list of inclusions.

  • Media buying. We do not run, manage or optimize campaigns. We fix what the campaigns learn from.
  • Everything past the top 10. Remaining findings are documented, prioritized and sized, not implemented.
  • Site or theme development. When a fix belongs in your codebase rather than in the tag layer, the report specifies the change and your developer makes it.
  • Historical data. A fix changes what gets collected from the moment it publishes. Nothing recovers conversions that were never recorded. The report can size what a gap was likely costing using your own numbers, but it cannot backfill the past.
  • New infrastructure built from scratch, such as a server-side tagging environment, a warehouse pipeline or a consent platform license. Those are scoped in the backlog with a recommendation and a reason.
  • Ongoing monitoring. The audit is a point in time. Tracking degrades with every release, and continuous verification is a separate arrangement.
  • Legal or compliance advice. Consent findings describe measurement behavior and flag risk. They are not legal advice, and your counsel decides what your consent posture should be.

Why a flat fee rather than an hourly rate

Hourly billing prices time. You are buying the opposite of time: someone who has seen the same failure patterns often enough to find them quickly. Metered billing turns that speed into a discount for us and a penalty for you, and it makes the final number unknowable until the work is done.

A flat fee moves the estimating risk to our side. If an account takes longer than expected, that is our problem, not a line on your invoice. It also removes the argument that eats most consulting engagements, the one about whether a given hour was in scope. There is no scope negotiation because there is only one scope.

And $900 is a number one person can approve. No procurement cycle, no committee, no statement of work drafted over three weeks while the tracking stays broken.

If your account is larger than typical

A fixed scope only stays honest if the exceptions are named out loud. Some accounts are genuinely outside it: several GA4 properties across regions, multiple containers with hundreds of tags, three storefronts on three different platforms, a custom checkout with its own event layer, or a server-side setup with heavy custom logic.

If yours looks like that, say so on the 15 minute call. We will either confirm the standard scope covers it, or define the larger scope and price it before anything is booked. What does not happen: booking at $900, starting work, then sending a surprise invoice halfway through. Once the audit starts, the price is settled. If we misjudge the size of the job after starting, the cost of that misjudgment is ours.

The guarantee, and how a fixable gap is counted

Fewer than five fixable gaps found and the audit is free. You keep the report either way.

A fixable gap is a defect in measurement that meets two tests:

  1. It causes a real conversion, its value, or its attribution to be missed, duplicated or misreported, or it degrades the signal quality that ad platforms use to optimize.
  2. It can be corrected by a change to tag configuration, trigger logic, dataLayer structure, event parameters, consent signals, platform-side settings, or server-side forwarding.

What does not count toward the five: naming conventions nobody is harmed by, optional improvements that are preferences rather than corrections, and the same root cause counted more than once. If one broken dataLayer push breaks four tags, that is one gap, not four.

Every finding carries evidence: the event, the condition that fires it, and how to reproduce it. You can verify the count yourself. The guarantee is judged from the report, not from anyone’s opinion of it.

The credit toward follow-on work

If you want the backlog implemented, a server-side build scoped, or ongoing verification after release cycles, the $900 is credited in full against that project. The audit is never a sunk cost on the way to a bigger quote.

There is no obligation attached to the credit. The backlog is written so a competent developer can implement it without us, and taking it in-house is a perfectly good outcome.

Agency and volume pricing

Agencies are welcome, and the work can be white labeled: your brand on the report, our delivery underneath, and no contact with your client unless you want it. Partner pricing exists for volume. It depends on how many accounts you send and how they arrive, so it is agreed once on a short call rather than published as a rate card, and invoicing can be consolidated across accounts rather than issued one at a time. The white label audit page covers how the handoff runs.

How and when payment happens

One invoice, for the full amount, in US dollars, issued after the call and before Day 0. No deposit schedule, no milestone billing, no hourly overage, no subscription, nothing that renews. Work starts once payment is confirmed and access is in place.

If the guarantee applies, the fee is returned in full. You keep the report, and you keep any fixes that were already published.

Questions

Is $900 per site or per account?

It covers one business: the primary GA4 property, the Google Tag Manager container serving it, and the Google Ads and Meta accounts attached to that container. Additional properties, containers or storefronts are additional scope, and that is settled on the call before you book, never after work begins.

Do I pay before or after the audit?

Before. A single invoice for the full $900 is issued after the call and before Day 0, and work starts once payment is confirmed and access is in place. If the guarantee applies because fewer than five fixable gaps are found, the fee is returned in full and you keep the report.

Does the guarantee cover disagreeing with the findings?

No. It is judged on one thing: the number of fixable gaps in the report. A fixable gap has to both cost you accuracy in conversions, value or attribution and be correctable in the tag, consent or platform layer. Each one is documented with reproduction steps so the count can be checked rather than argued about.

Is it cheaper if I only want the report without the fixes?

No. Fixing the top 10 during the audit is the reason the audit exists, and it is where most of the work sits. A findings list without repairs is homework, and there is no version of this priced to deliver that.
